In a time when climate change needs immediate action, Taqalum stepped up and offered an impactful series of online workshops aimed to inform, engage, and activate youth across the Asia-Pacific. The series, which covered Climate Action 1 – 2 – 3 – 4, Nature & Biodiversity, and Green Jobs, brought together passionate individuals who are committed to shaping a sustainable future. What made this series unique was the incredible trainers who talked about taking climate action, but more importantly, they sparked climate action. All the sessions were interactive, reflective, and action-oriented, and every session created a space for participants to learn, share, and visualize change on an individual and community level.
This initiative was made possible through powerful collaborations with the Movers Programme, YECAP, Skill Our Future, and Makesense Asia, who share our mission of equipping young minds with the tools and knowledge they need to tackle global challenges.
The impact was significant: dozens of youth became more climate-aware, discovered new opportunities in the green job sector, and found their voice in environmental storytelling. The series sparked lasting dialogue and empowered participants to initiate climate-positive actions in their own circles.
