Taqalum proudly conducted a dynamic session on “Introduction to SDGs and Green Jobs” at BUITEMS, led by the passionate Ms. Arooj Khan. Held in collaboration with the Movers Programme, YECAP, Skill Our Future, and Makesense Asia, the session focused on equipping youth with the knowledge and mindset needed for the fast-growing green job sector.
The workshop highlighted the growing demand for climate-smart careers and the importance of equipping young people with skills aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. Students explored green job sectors like renewable energy, sustainable development, circular economy, and climate communication.
By introducing SDG-aligned career paths and emphasizing environmental storytelling, Taqalum continues to prepare youth for a greener, more resilient future. This session not only inspired future green leaders but also strengthened the movement toward climate literacy in Pakistan.
This initiative reflects Taqalum’s mission to use storytelling and creative platforms to advance the Sustainable Development Goals. It empowered students to think critically and act creatively, reminding us all that environmental action doesn’t have to wait for a specific date—it begins with those who dare to act now.
At Taqalum, we believe every youth voice is a climate solution, and this session brought that vision to life.
